ABOUT

Ilana is an accomplished design leader with over 17 years of experience in production design, art direction, and creative team management. Most recently, she served as Design Director for the rebrand of Copeland, where she led a full team of designers, retouchers, and proofreaders while managing internal workflows and direct client communication. Ilana oversaw the creative vision, ensured alignment across deliverables, and kept timelines on track—guiding the team through everything from initial concepting to final production with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and high standards.

Ilana spent nearly a decade at DIRECTV, where she started honing her production design skills before moving into art direction. She art-directed the ongoing production of high-volume video-on-demand graphics and collaborated with outside ad agencies on weekly campaigns. As an individual designer, she also conceptualized and executed key pages for a full website rebrand.

At Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Ilana was the Creative Operations and Production Manager, where she managed the creation of all assets and print publications for the organization’s in-house creative services department. She also mentored junior designers and stepped in to lead design projects when needed.

Throughout her career, Ilana has worked with leading brands such as PBS, L'Oréal, Nestlé, Hothouse, Mars Agency, EG+, Droga5, and Prime Content. Her experience spans everything from high-volume creative production to beauty retouching, digital design, and brand development.

Ilana is an empathetic and results-driven leader who fosters collaboration and creativity while delivering exceptional outcomes. She is also an animal lover and the proud owner of two senior American Cocker Spaniels, Cash and Rose.
